A. Dale Clark, 87, of Pecatonica, IL died at 3:42 a.m., Tuesday, October 03, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family.\r\n\r\nBorn October 3, 1930 in Seward, IL, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Burdette and Winnie (Buss) Clark. Graduated from Pecatonica High School, Class of 1949. Married the former Kaye E. Kappes in Stockton, IL on July 1, 1956. He was employed as an expediter by National Lock Hardware, retiring in 1982. He then worked for Hack’s Auction Service, retiring in 2015. Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the US Army. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where he had been active on many committees, UAW Local #449 and American Legion Eugene J. Barloga Post #197 in Pecatonica. \r\n\r\nSurvivors include his wife Kaye Clark, Pecatonica, IL; children Cory (Mary) Clark, Pecatonica, IL, Brad (Judy) Clark, Loves Park, IL, Teri (David) Buzzard, Pecatonica, IL and Curt (Marc Robin) Clark, Lancaster, PA and Brunswick, ME; grandchildren Jeff (Jessica) Clark, Davis, IL, Dan (Sarah) Clark, Forreston, IL, Tom (Emily) Clark, Davis, IL, Cory (Cassie) Girardin, Bryan Girardin and Alyssen Clark all of Loves Park, IL; great grandchildren Jennifer Clark, Jonathon Clark, Audrey Clark, Hailey Girardin and Andrew Girardin; brothers Lloyd Clark, Loves Park, IL and Merlin (Judy) Clark, Pecatonica, IL and several nieces and nephews in Stockton and Pecatonica, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Marvin Clark.\r\n\r\nFuneral Ceremonies will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, October 16, 2017 in St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1301 Jackson Street, Pecatonica, IL with Reverend Willis Schwichtenberg officiating. Visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home-Pecatonica Chapel, 203 W Fifth Street, Pecatonica, IL from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 15, 2017.
