It is with profound sorrow and a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of Anthony N. Cellitti A.A.S, NRP, OSFM, ATF, a loving husband, father, and esteemed Paramedic Educator, who was born on July 17, 1969, in Rockford, IL. Anthony was a beacon of generosity, loyalty, and reliability. He was the quintessential dedicated family man and professional, whose larger-than-life persona will forever be etched in our hearts. In the words of Albert Einstein, "Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile." This quote perfectly encapsulates the essence of Anthony. His love for his wife, Rachel, and son, Czargent, was infinite and enduring. His family and friends were his universe, and he was the heart of that universe. Anthony's unique teaching style as a Paramedic Course Coordinator for 30 years was transformative, touching the lives of countless students. He was a dedicated figure in the EMS community, a steadfast pillar of strength for his family, and the go-to person for friends in need of counsel or support. He lived his life as a service to others, making an indelible mark wherever he went. Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Rachel Cellitti, his proud son, Czargent Stevenson, Brothers Patrick (Heather) and Robert (Felicia) Anderson, Sister Amy (Branden) Anderson, eight nephews and two nieces, many aunts, uncles and cousins, In laws, Leslie and Micheal Hipp and his supportive sister-in-law, Casey (Matthew) Leonard. His memory will live on, not only through them but also through the countless lives he touched during his career in the EMS/Fire community. He is preceded in death by his Mother Kathleen (Hamm) Anderson, and we find comfort in knowing that they are reunited. A Memorial Ceremony for Anthony will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 1:00 pm CST at the McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 North Blackhawk Boulevard, Rockton, Illinois, 61072 with Pastor Dan Herman officiating. How did Anton know Anthony?

"I was an ITLS colleague of Tony's in the Illinois chapter and also the ITLS International office. Tony would always be counted on to help with a course at the last minute and to promote and bring ITLS courses to new sites. He was my go-to person and helped me out too many times to count. He was dedicated and caring. He would visit our offices, always with a BIG smile and sometimes with donuts, and staff knew and loved him. He is greatly missed as a friend and colleague. His passing has left a hole in my heart. Prayers for his family and his wife and son whom he always bragged about and shared photos. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Sue McDonough"

We continue to remain connected to you in our thoughts and prayers. Our condolences to your family and everyone who misses you during these sad times.. Anton and all your freinds from ITLS Slovenia
