Arlene G. Balla, 81, of Lake Summerset, IL died at 7:49 a.m., Monday, September 18, 2023 in Monroe Clinic Hospital after brief illness. She was born August 12, 1942 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nick and Bernadine (Cox) Danakas. Arlene graduated from Senn High School and College of DuPage. Married to J. Ken Balla in Chicago, Il on July 15, 1967.

Survivors include husband Ken Balla; son Jay (Laura) Balla; grandchildren Jake and Charlotte;. Predeceased by her parents.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Scripture ceremony at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, September 25, 2023 in McCorkle Funeral Home-Durand Chapel, 101 Main St. Durand, IL. Cremations Rites to be Accorded with final resting place to be Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL.
