Betty Lou Wennerberg, 83, of Rockton, IL died at 6:10 a.m., Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in Fair Oaks Nursing Home, after a brief illness.\r\n\r\nBorn April 30, 1934 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Eva (Ortengren)Paulson. Betty married John E. Wennerberg in Crown Point, Indiana on December 21, 1953. Their marriage gave them four children, Dawn, Kurt, Laurie, and Karl; John died in January of 1977. She then married Richard E. Wennerberg in Iowa on April 21, 1979. She was the “Demo” lady at Highlander in Roscoe for years. She attended St Andrew Lutheran Church\r\n\r\nSurvivors include daughter Dawn Hutchens; son Kurt (Linda) Wennerberg; daughter Laurie (John) Miller; son Karl (April) Wennerberg; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; sister Lois Lemons and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brother Jack Walters, sister Norma Butz, and son-in-law John Hutchens.\r\n\r\nFuneral Ceremonies at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017 in St Andrews Lutheran Church 511 West Rockton Rd Rockton, IL with Pastor Scott Herbert officiating.\r\n\r\n Burial in Rockton Township Cemetery. \r\n\r\nVisitaton will be held in the church from 11:30 to 1:00 Saturday October 14, 2017.
