Billy Blum

Billy G. Blum, 87, of Rockton, IL died on Monday November 4, 2024 in UW-Madison Hospital after a brief illness. Billy was born February 23, 1937 in Evansville, WI the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert and Evelyn (Wells) Blum.

He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School the class of 1955. He served in the Army National Guard in 32nd Red Arrow Division. Billy married Carol Lemke in Janesville, WI on July 9, 1960. Billy worked for Yates American for 43 years.

Survivors include his wife Carol; son Charles Blum; 2 grandchildren Aaron and Jessica Blum; brother-in-law Wayne (JoAn) Lemke; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brother and sister-in-law Robert & Margaret Blum.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 7, 2024 in McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, IL with Pastor Brenda Morris officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Ceremony. Final resting place to be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Evansville, WI.
