Bonnie Loofbourrow

Bonnie J. Loofbourrow, 82, of Durand, IL died Monday, December 19, 2022 in Medina Nursing Center after a lengthy illness. Bonnie was born December 18, 1940 in Chippewa, WI the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace and Vera (Shortluff) Marquardt. Married to B. Kent Loofbourrow in Bloomer, WI on December 21, 1957. She worked as cook at Medina Manor for 33 years retiring in 2002. Member of Faith Community Church, where she was active in the Mission Committee. Active with the Freeport Pregnancy Center and participated in the Walk for Life for over 25 years. She was active in many social outreach programs in Northern Illinois.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Mike Saylor) Stockdale; sons, Dan Loofbourrow, Dennis (Sarah) Loofbourrow all of Durand; grandchildren, Amanda (Bunker), Andrew, Kassi (Chad), Kari, Cal, Becca (Carl), Valerie, Joseph (Becca); great grandchildren, Mark, Jayce, Allison, Mason, Eleanor, Marshall, Luke, Bunker John and Cambria; sisters Yvonne Siverling and Marla (Pete) Paulson; very special niece Pam Johnson and many other nieces and nephews; grand pets, Jack, Samantha-Jovi, Cherry, Marsha Brady, Cooper, Chloe. She is predeceased by her parents; husband, brothers Ronnie, Dick; brother-in-law Vernie and sisters-in-law Audrey and Shirley.

Funeral ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in Faith Community Church, 212 W. McKimmy Street, Davis, with Pastor Bob Kolb officiating. Burial in Durand Township Cemetery. A visitation will be in held in the church Monday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
