Bryce Warren Lingen

Bryce Warren Lingen, 7, of Durand, IL went to be with his Heavenly Father at 11:00 pm Thursday May 18, 2017 in American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI after a lengthy illness.

He was born April 28, 2010 in Rockford, IL the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jason W. and Erica F. (Younkin) Lingen.

Bryce attends Durand Grade School; member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church; Young Athletes for Special Olympics; attended swim classes at Catch the Wave; Mickey Mouse was a big part of his life, he enjoyed camping, being outside, all types of lights and boxing with grandpa. He enjoyed taking rides in his golf cart that he received from Make A Wish Foundation.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, caretakers and staff at American Children Family Hospital for all their tender loving care given to Bryce.

Survivors include: parents Jason and Erica; brother Oliver all of Durand, IL; maternal grandparents Kirby and Jacki Younkin of Roscoe, IL; paternal grandparents Gene and Mary Redieske of South Beloit, IL; maternal great grandparents David and June Kinney of Sarasota, FL; several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, close family and friends.

Predeceased by his paternal grandfather Warren Peska.

A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday May 25, 2017 in St. Andrew Lutheran Church 511 West Rockton Road Rockton, IL with Pastor Scott Herbert officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Garden in South Beloit, IL.

A visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel 767 N Blackhawk Blvd Rockton, IL from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday.

A memorial is being established.
