Carol Rosko, 84 of Lake Summerset, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022 at 8:12 p.m. in St. Anthony's Medical Center in Rockford, Illinois. She was born on June 30, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of James and Clarice (Wierciak) Cervenka.\n\nShe was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Durand Illinois for 20 years.\n She enjoyed wood working, quilting, sewing, gardening and spending time with family .She was married to Michael for 62 years. \n\n Survivors include: son Michael (Debra) Rosko, son David (Susan) Rosko, son Gary (Lilly) Rosko, son Steven (Kristin) Rosko; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and sister Gail. Predeceased by parents, husband Michael and brother James. \n\nA Funeral Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, October 8, 2022 in St. Mary Catholic Church, 606 W. Main St. Durand, IL with burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Durand, IL. A visitation, following COVID 19 guidelines of wearing of masks and social distancing will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at McCorkle Funeral Home-Durand Chapel, 101 W. Main St. Durand, IL.\n\nIn lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Carol's name to St. Mary Catholic Church.
