Craig Lee Weaver, 36, Rockton, Illinois died at 2:15 a.m., Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. \r\r\n\r\r\n Craig was born in Rockford, Illinois on July 7, 1973, the son of Jerry and Darlene Weaver. He was raised in Rockton, Illinois. He graduated from Hononegah High School and attended Southern Illinois University. He later enlisted in the United States Air Force where he studied electronics and was responsible for testing electronic jet control panels. He was awarded Airman of the Month during his service in Saudi Arabia, post Desert Storm. He was a member of the Professional Golf Association and had worked at Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford and more recently at Vitense Family Sports Center in Madison, Wisconsin. Craig loved all people especially his two children, Riley Weaver of Sycamore and Tyler Weaver of South Beloit. He most of all loved the Lord and read his word every day. \r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include his parents and children; two sisters Tina Vance, Rockford and Catherine (Stephan) Siciliano, Western Springs, Illinois; his cherished nephews and nieces Jacob and Drew Moseley, Nicholas Siciliano and Isabella and Gabrielle Siciliano; grandmother Florence Swinson, Rockford and Kathleen Swinson, Durand and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Craig also leaves many faithful friends and his church family at Daystar Christian Fellowship in South Beloit, plus special family in faith Tony and Linda Ross and sons. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lionel(Curley) and Marilyn Weaver and his maternal grandfather Lawrence Swinson. \r\r\n\r\r\n Memorial ceremonies will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 20, 2010 in Rockton United Methodist Church, 102 W Chapel, Rockton, Illinois with Pastor Tom Kingery and Pastor Phillip Allen co-officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Township Cemetery, 600 West Street, Rockton, Illinois. Visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, Illinois from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 19. \r\r\n\r\r\n In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Rockford Rescue Mission, 715 W State St. Rockford, IL 61102 or First National Bank and Trust 300 E. Main Street, Rockton, IL 61072 in the name of Riley and/or Tyler Weaver.
