Curtis M. Stickler, 65 of Beloit, WI, beloved brother and uncle passed away peacefully on Friday May 4, 2012 in Monutview Health Center in Wausau, WI after a courageous battle with cancer. \r\r\n\r\r\n Curt was born on July 10, 1946 in Beloit, WI the son of Arthur George and Opal (Larsen) Stickler. Curt workd for Kandu, Sears Warehouse, Ecolab. He loved playing bingo, watching wrestling, having rummage sales and going out to eat. He was a die hard Chicago Bears fan, loved Elvis and being with family and friends. Previously attend Our Savoir Lutheran Church. \r\r\n\r\r\n Curt is survived by sisters Colleen (Vance) Davidson and Rose Bermann; nephew and guardian Jackie "Pete" (Linda) Walmer all from Beloit, WI; numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by parents, grandparents, sisters Mary Lou Walmer, Margaret Webster, brothers Edgar Lyle, Arthur "Buddy Boy" and Jack. The family would like to thank the staff at Mountview Health Center, Rock Haven and the Sister MIchael Berry Clinic for all their love and support the gave to our Uncle. We also thank Tina for her support in helping with getting our uncle to his treatments. \r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral ceremonies to be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday May 9, 2012 in McCorkle Funeral Home 767 N Blackhawk Blvd Rockton, IL with Rev Dan Herman of the Old Stone Church officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Township Cemetery.
