Donna Jean Godenius

Donna Jean (Gunnison) Godenius, 72, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024. Donna was born in Elmhurst, IL on February 17, 1952, daughter of the late Richard (Bud) Norman Gunnison and Vivian Elaine (Perlick) Gunnison. She married the late Ralph Robert Godenius, Jr. on October 21, 1972 and they enjoyed living the majority of their life together on a farm in Davis Junction, Illinois. In retirement, they relocated to Rockton, Illinois.

In addition to her father and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Robert. She is survived by her mother; sisters, Christine, Kathleen, and Eileen; brothers, James, Thomas, and John; daughters, Nicole (Mark) Alcorn and Eileen (Roberto) James and grandsons, Matthew, Henry and Isaac. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A private family ceremony will be held.
