Florence Hitchcock Obituary (1931 - 2022)

Florence Ellen Hitchcock, 91 of Pecatonica, IL died Thursday November 3, 2022 after a brief illness. She was born March 30, 1931 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Herman and Florence (Bentley) Eickman. She married Eugene "Red" Hitchcock on June 7, 1952. She graduated from Winnebago High School and Rockford Memorial School of Nursing. Flo was member of First Congregational Church and Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by he son Maurice, sister-in-law Carol Hitchcock. predeceased by her parents, husband, brother-in-law Harold Hitchcock. Cremation Rites to be Accorded with private services to be held. In place of flowers memorials may be given to First Congregational Church, 633 Reed St, Pecatonica, IL or Friends Forever Humane Society in Freeport.
