Frederick Paysen

Frederick Paysen, 79, of South Beloit, Illinois passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 30, 1941 in Clinton, Iowa the son of Alvin and Marion (Graves) Paysen.

Frederick graduated from St. Ambrose College now St. Ambrose University in 1965 in Art Education.

He was employed as a art teacher for the South Beloit school district starting in elementary then moving on to S. Beloit High School. He was the football coach for the high school. He retired in 1995. After a few years he joined the Albany, WI School district until retiring in 2012. He also taught art at St. Peter's Catholic school until it closed.

His community involvements included the South Beloit Lions Club, Library Board and the city council.

He is survived by his brother Robert; nephew Steve Paysen.

Frederick was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Memorial ceremony following COVID 19 requirements of social distancing and the wearing of facemasks will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. in McCorkle Funeral Home- Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd. Rockton IL. Cremation rites have been accorded.
