Georjean L. Hilko, 85, Darien, IL died at 7:13 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 in Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, IL. Born May 2, 1933 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Laurette (Frederick) Heron. Married Chester E. Hilko in Oak Park, IL on September 4, 1953. She was employed as a cashier by Jewel Grocery Store in Franklin Park, IL, where she was also the vice president of the union for the grocery store. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Durand, IL. Survivors include daughter Kathleen (Robert) Culler, Clarendon Hills, IL; son Kevin Hilko, Chicago, IL; daughter-in-law Lina Hilko, Chicago, IL; six grandchildren and sister Carolyn Boraccini. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and son David Hilko. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 in St. Mary Catholic Church, 602 West Main Street, Durand, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Durand, IL. Visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home-Durand Chapel, 101 W Main Street, Durand, IL from 9:00 -10:00 a.m., with prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday prior to Mass.
