Gregory Tracy

Gregory W. Tracy, Sr. 54, of South Beloit, IL died on Thursday May 16, 2024. He was born March 11, 1970 in Monroe, WI the son of Gary Tracy and Maxine Felthousen. Greg graduated from Hononegah High School the class of 1988. Greg worked in HVAC for 36 years and was owner of Absolute Comfort Heating & Air. He also did a wide range of construction work for his family and friends.

Greg was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Greg loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his dog Maggie.

Survivors include: daughters Crystal (John) Hooker; Kayla (Kyle) Champlin; Cheyenne (DJ) Tolmie; son Gregory Tracy, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; father Gary Tracy; sister Denise Cain, Sandy Crawford, Colleen (Jim Johnson) Russell, Shannon (Brad) Hudson, Deborah Gerke; brothers Todd (Laurie) Morden, Craig (Bina) Lenz, Christopher (Michael Forest) Morden; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by Mother, Step Mother Rose Ann; sister Kimberley Moody; brothers Rick Brady, Jeff Lenz.

A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 23, 2024 in McCorkle Funeral Home-Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, IL with Pastor Dan Herman officiating. Cremation Rites to be Accorded. A memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday.
