Jack A Fairchild

Jack A. Fairchild, 78, of Rockton, IL passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, June 26, 2017 in Rockford, IL

He was born January 1, 1939 in Goodman, WI, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John and Donnabelle (Abbiehl) Fairchild. He lived most of his life in Beloit, WI and Rockton, IL. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School. He studied and became a Certified Machinist. He married the former Jean Lorraine Kincaid in Rockford, IL, on December 28, 1957. He was employed as a machinist by Woodward Governor for 26 years. He was very supportive of the Salvation Army. Jack was a volunteer fireman for Rockton, IL. He was a good family man.

Survivors include sons, Michael (Kathy) of Beloit, WI, Ron (Mary) of Rockford, IL; and Richard (Christina) Fairchild of Rockton, IL, granddaughters Jenna Fairchild and Serena (Andy) LaPonsie; sister Marilyn (Joe) Wysocki of Goodman, WI; brother Delmar (Sheila) Fairchild of Barron, WI. Preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers Bob and Phillip Fairchild.

Cremation Rites to be Accorded.
