Jean Beverly Chambers, 95, died at 5:25 a.m., Friday, May 3, 2019 at NorthPointe Terrace after a lengthy illness. \r\n\r\nBorn October 13, 1923 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence and Mary (Bennett) Gunderson. Graduated from South Beloit High School. Jean managed travel sales at Warner Electric for 37 years and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She enjoyed golfing, reading and going for walks. \r\n\r\nSurvivors include son Paul (Donna) Chambers of Rockton, IL; daughter Sandy (Steve) Haenel of Janesville, WI; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.\r\n\r\nShe was preceded in death by her parents and brother Irving Gunderson. \r\n\r\nA Memorial Ceremony will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2019 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1305 Blackhawk Blvd, South Beloit, IL with the Pastor Rick Meier officiating. Final Resting Place will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. McCorkle Funeral Home- Rockton Chapel assisted the family. \r\n\r\nIn lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Beloit Regional Hospice.
