Jeanne Streckwald

Jeanne Beverly Streckwald, a woman of remarkable dedication and loyalty, peacefully concluded her earthly journey on November 4, 2023. Born on September 12, 1934, in Winslow, Illinois, Jeanne lived a life that was a testament to her loving and supportive nature. Her life's journey was marked by the deep bonds she created and nurtured with those she loved, especially her family, whose well-being mattered the most to her.

Jeanne was a beacon of unwavering support, resiliency, and unyielding love. She was an individual who took pride in everything she did, ensuring that her actions reflected her commitment to excellence. Jeanne's career was spent managing the office of Pate foods a role she dedicated herself to with the same passion and commitment that defined her personal life. Her work ethic was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of working with her.

Jeanne was a devoted sister to Karen (John) West, brother, Ronald Streckwald, and a beloved aunt to Victoria Strunz who was her caretaker. She is further survived by other nieces and nephews. Jeanne is preceded in death by her father, Robert Streckwald, and her mother, Leone Hanson. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her and those whose lives were positively impacted by her.

Graveside committal ceremony will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Rockton Township Cemetery located at 600 West Street in Rockton. Please meet at cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Winnebago County Animal Services, 4517 N. Main St., Rockford, IL 61103.
