Jennie L. Juhlin-Hose Obituary (1925

Jennie L. Juhlin-Hose, 89, Roscoe, Illinois died peacefully in her home in Florida on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Born March 17, 1925 in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl James and Christina (Avery) Heskett. Married Vernon d. Juhlin on October 21, 1951, he died in 1972. She married Roger W. Peterson in Rockford, Illinois, he died in 2004. She then married Duane F. Hose, Sr. in November 2005. She owned and operated the Thrifty Boutique Resale Shoppe in Rockford from 1972 – 1992. She then worked with her daughter at the A-Frame Cafe in Durand, Illinois, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed spending time with her family, spending time at the lake, boating, cooking, collecting cookbooks and her shoes. She will be missed. Graduated from Winnebago High School, Class of ’43. Survivors include husband, Duane F. Hose, Sr., Roscoe, Illinois; son, Michael (Judie) Juhlin, Debary, Florida; daughters, Carol (James) Myers, Jill (Randy Deiter) Thomas, both of Durand, Illinois and Jenny M. Rollie, Roscoe, Illinois; step son, Rik (Dawn) Hose, Winnebago, Illinois; step daughter, Laura Jean Hose, Texas; several grand and great grandchildren; sister, Earlena Jeppson, Florida; brother, Arthur (Wylladene) Yates, Winnebago, Illinois and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Terry Wilson, brother, Gordon Yates, sister, Donna Haile, infant sister Tina Mae and infant brother, Earl, Jr. Funeral ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015 in McCorkle Funeral Home-Durand Chapel, 101 Main Street, Durand, Illinois with Reverend Gary Turner, pastor of New Life Bible Church, Winnebago, Illinois officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 -8:00 p.m., Monday, January 19. Burial will be in South Rock Run Lutheran Cemetery, Durand, Illinois.
