Jo Ann Guetschow

Jo Ann Guetschow, 86, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, friend, and sister passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 19, 2024 at her home in South Beloit.

Jo Ann was born to Evelyn and Comer Shepherd on August 27, 1937 in Pensacola, Florida. She married William (Bill) Fredrick Guetschow Jr. on September 29, 1956 in Dubuque, Iowa. She was preceded in death by Bill, 89, on May 7, 2014 after 58 years of marriage.

Jo Ann is survived by her five children, Lance Guetschow of Elgin, IL, Kim Ignatius of Mt Horeb, WI, Keith & Diana Guetschow of Ogden, UT, Laurie & Terry Grigsby of Littleton, CO, and Brett & Tina Guetschow of South Beloit, IL as well as numerous loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, Betty Jean, Mildred, and Patsy as well as her daughter Michelle, and grandson Adam.

She will be cremated. Ashes will be with Bill’s and scattered on Pensacola Beach, FL.
