LaVeda Stout

–

South Beloit, Illinois

With a heart full of compassion, generous spirit, and boundless love for her family, LaVeda Jeanine Stout, born on August 13, 1932, in Centralia, Illinois, made her mark on the world. LaVeda was a beacon of light to all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. As Helen Keller once said, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." LaVeda's love, kindness, and spirit were indeed felt by all who knew her.

LaVeda was a lifelong resident of Northern Illinois, building a rich and fulfilling life in South Beloit. Her remarkable career spanned over 36 years at First National Bank and Trust in Beloit, Wisconsin, where she retired from her position as Teller Supervisor. But beyond her professional accomplishments, she found joy in simple pleasures. Dancing and golfing in her younger years, caring for her beloved cats Baby and Angel, and cherishing moments with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were what mattered most to her. Every memory of LaVeda is colored with her spirited energy, infectious laughter, and her unique ability to make everyone feel loved and cherished.

LaVeda Stout is survived by her loving children, Pam (Bill) Puckett, Allan (Stacy) Swenson, and Ron Swenson. She leaves a legacy of love to her grandchildren, Shara (Mike) Meade, Ryan (Amala) Swenson, Nikki (Jason) Moffitt, John Swenson, Samantha (Joey) Korotasz, and Adam (Annissa) Puckett; great grandchildren Britain, Trinity, Henrik; numerous nieces, nephews and 2 cousins. LaVeda was preceded in death by her parents, Herdie and Helen Pate, husbands John Swenson and Harold Stout, daughter Judith Swenson, twin sons Herdie and Danny, and siblings Frances Sorce, Jack Pate, Jerry Pate, and Tom Pate.

We invite everyone who had the privilege of knowing LaVeda to leave memories and upload photos to her memorial page. This will not only serve as a tribute to her beautiful life but also as a comfort to those who loved her.
