Linda Saxby, born on January 23, 1956 in Rockford, IL, was a woman of remarkable resilience and generosity, who lived a life characterized by compassion and love. She illuminated the lives of those around her with her radiant spirit and kind heart, always going the extra mile to lend a helping hand. Linda was a beloved mother, a cherished friend, and a respected member of her community. In the words of 1 Corinthians 13:7, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." True to this verse, Linda bore, believed, hoped, and endured, demonstrating the depth of her Christian faith and the strength of her character.
For many years, Linda was a dedicated line operator in the assembly business, where her diligent work ethic and dedication were admired by her colleagues. Although she relished the joys of a simple life, she also had a deep appreciation for nature and the beauty of the world around her. This love was reflected in her frequent outings, where she enjoyed the sheer pleasure of soaking up the sights, sounds, and wonders of the world. To Linda, these were moments of pure joy, moments that she often shared with her beloved son, Nicolas, and her grandpuppy, Ruby, who were her heart and soul.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Eleanor (Long) McGrew. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her son, Nicolas Saxby. Linda's unwavering love, steadfast resilience, and generous spirit will forever be remembered by those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and minds of those she touched, a testament to a life well-lived and a woman well-loved.
We invite you to share your fondest memories of Linda and upload photos that celebrate her life on her memorial page. In this way, we can keep her spirit alive and honor her remarkable journey through life.
