Loretta Morelock

Loretta A. Morelock, age 85, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 22, 2024, in St. Louis, MO.

Born on October 17, 1938 in Hay River Township, WI. in Dunn County, the daughter of Earl and Geneva (Quarderer) Minor. Loretta married Jack Morelock in 1966 and was married for 51 years. She retired from the United States Postal Service. She loved spending time with her husband and extended family. She enjoyed traveling, baking, fishing, and a good game of cards.

Loretta is survived by her children Vicki (David) Rowlett; Jack (Kim) Morelock; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Larry, Dan (Joann) and Rick Minor; sisters, Betty Johnson, Joan Buck, Bonnie (Jeff) Brinkmeyer, Marlys Espeseth and Shirley Pederstuen; her best bud Mac; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Morelock Sr.; daughter Brenda Wernick; parents Earl and Geneva (Quarderer) Minor; sisters, Carol Quarders and Erma Minor; and brother Lyle Minor.

Funeral ceremonies to be held on Saturday September 28, 2024, at McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, IL. Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. with service directly following. Final resting place will be in Rockton Township Cemetery with luncheon to follow at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2336 Freeport Rd, Rockton, IL.
