Lucille A. Clark, 86, of South Beloit, Illinois, died at 6:40 am, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 in Fair Oaks Nursing Center after a brief illness. \r\r\n\r\r\n She was born October 14, 1928 in Rockford, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray L and Frances R. (Pagles) Funk. She graduated from Stillman High School. Lucille married Gordon Clark in Rockford, Illinois in 1972. She worked in data entry for Barber Colman and retired after 19 years. She enjoyed fishing and motorcycling. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Fair Oaks Nursing Center and the Beloit Regional Hospice for all their tender and compassionate care given to our mom. \r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include: sons, Ronald (Deborah) Peterson of South Beloit, Illinois, Rodney (Karen A.) Peterson of Elkhart, Indiana; grandchildren Charles J. (Sarah) Peterson, Jamie (fiancé Tom Wand) Waller, Erik Waller; great grandchildren, Jaiden, Lilly and Ethan; sister, Betty Yunek of Freeport, Illinois and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and two brothers. \r\r\n\r\r\n A memorial ceremony will be held at 12:00 pm, Saturday, March 21, 2015 in McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, Illinois with Pastor Dan Herman of the Old Stone Church officiating. Final resting place will be Adeline Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 am until time of ceremony Saturday.
