Mabel R. Beaumont, 91, Rockton, Illinois, died at 9:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015 in Sun Valley East.\r\r\n\r\r\n Born July 23, 1923 in Roscoe, Illinois, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph and Augusta (Oldenburg) Burton. She worked at Finnegan’s RV, Land Title and Closing Services, Inc. and over 25 years for Woodward Governor. She was a volunteer for the Rockford Memorial Auxiliary. She was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Rockton, Illinois.\r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include daughter-in-law, Goldie Beaumont; grandchildren, Jodi (Derek) Fellows, and Jay (Melissa) Beaumont, both of Beloit, Wisconsin, Tina Tillery, Rockton, Illinois and Mike Lackey, Beloit, Wisconsin; great grandchildren, Trevor and Dalton Fellows, Austin and Kelsey Beaumont and Leah, Hunter and Cloe Tillery; sisters, Ruth Dillet and Shirley Einarsson, many nieces, nephews, friends and long-time friend, Herb Hofer, Rockford, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, James W. Beaumont and sisters Helen Guetschow, Cora Higgins and Nel Martinez and brothers-in-law Jack Dillet and Gosta Einarsson, Harold Guetschow, Harley Higgins and Manuel Martinez\r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral ceremonies will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 in McCorkle Funeral Home-Rockton Chapel, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, Illinois with Pastor Scott Herbert, St. Andrew Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, South Beloit, Illinois. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Saturday.
