Mary Louise Shakespeare, born on September 24, 1932, in Des Plaines, IL, was called home on March 23, 2025. Her life was marked by deep faith, love for her family, and a life-long passion for music. Mary Louise loved Jesus and lived her life as an embodiment of His teachings. Her love and compassion radiated to everyone she met, and she was truly loved by all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her faith was nurtured at the First United Methodist Church in Des Plaines, and later at the Rockton United Methodist Church.

Mary Louise had a fulfilling career as a pre-school teacher, nurturing, and guiding young minds with her thoughtful and supportive nature. Later, she served as a realtor in the Des Plaines area for over 27 years, retiring when she was 80. Her dedication and service earned her numerous accolades and respect among her colleagues and clients. Yet, her most cherished title was that of the "Best Mom Ever," a testament to her unwavering love and devotion to her family.

Music was an integral part of Mary Louise's life. From an early age, her love for song and dance brought joy to those around her. Throughout her life, she was involved in various choirs at her church, school and community.

As a mother, she passed on her love for music to her children, with whom she often performed at various events. Her life was a beautiful song of love, faith, and service, and she will be dearly missed.
