Masonn Lawrence Hansen died November 21, 2021. He was born on March 15, 2002, in Rockford, IL, the son of Jarod Hansen and Angella Brown. There is no greater loss than the loss of a young life cut short. \n\nMasonn was so full of life's blessing of passion. He was our debate partner, our best friend, lover of all things guitar and skateboards. He never backed down when he came across injustice, and defended fiercely the people he loved. If you knew him in life, you knew he was always on the brink of something new and incredible. He was truly one of the most independent and passionate people you'd ever met. He liked to make his own way, even when it wasn't the easiest path, because it was his own. Our grief is immeasurable at the loss of someone who completed us and filled us with so much excitement. He's got one finger up and four fingers down on each hand, laughing into the next phase after this mortal coil. We're coming behind you, Bug. \n\nCelebration of life is set for Sunday, December 5th at the American Legion in Rockton, Il. from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Food will be available. Please bring stories or pictures if you have them. McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel is assisting the family.
