Mina Mae Hidden, 90, of Durand died at 11:45 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 in Medina Nursing Center. Born October 17, 1921 in Murrayville, Illinois to James T. and Maude (Rogers) Ellington. Married Alfred Dwight Hidden in New London, Missouri on December 22, 1939. Employed as a waitress by Wagon Wheel in Rockton for 40 years. She attended Cornerstone Foursquare Church in Durand. \r\r\n\r\r\nSurvivors include son, Ronald (Janet) Hidden of Rockford; daughter, Susan (Leland) Gauron of Summerville, South Carolina; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, husband, three sisters, and one brother.\r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral ceremonies will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 in McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd. Rockton, with Pastor Chet Burton of New Covenant Fellowship Church in Freeport, IL officiating. Burial in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in South Beloit. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service Thursday.
