Mitchel Roy Krause, 17, Rockton, Illinois died at 5:07 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in St. Anthony’s Hospital, Rockford, Illinois. Born February 4, 1994 in Rockford, Illinois, the son of Michael Krause and Tracy Wilson. He lived his entire life in the Rockton area. He was employed at Beef-A-Roo. He was active in football and track at Hononegah High School in Rockton. Survivors include father Michael (Kacy) Krause; mother Tracy (Kirk) Wilson; siblings Michael, Mackenzie, Nicholas, Cameron and Logan; maternal grandparents Clarence (Sally) Shoemaker, Machesney Park, Illinois; paternal grandparents Dale (Louise) Osterholz; grandparents Tom (Joyce) Walton, Machesney Park, Illinois, John (Nancy) Geobel, Rockton, Illinois and Randy (Sandra) Krause; great grandmothers Pauline Krause and Ade Osterholz; many aunts, uncles and cousins and very close friends Chris, Peter, Troy, Mark, Blake and Alyssa. Funeral Ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2011 in McCorkle Funeral Home, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd, Rockton, Illinois with Pastor Krista Zimmerman, pastor of United Lutheran Church, Rockford, Illinois officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Rockton Township Cemetery. Cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 17. A luncheon will follow the funeral ceremony Saturday. Memorials to the family in Mitchel’s name.
