Orvan Morrical

Orvan L. Morrical 79, of Rockton, IL died on October 5, 2024 in Beloit Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Orv was born June 25, 1945 in Kankakee, IL the son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard and Mary (Donovan) Morrical. He graduated from Montello High School the class of 1963. Orv married Marcia K. McGee on June 4, 1966 in Montello, WI. Orvan worked at Chrysler for 30 years. After retiring he started working for Winnebago County Forest Preserve.

Orv loved Nascar, fishing, golfing with his kids and his buddies, and he also enjoyed playing billiards in the winter. He was an avid football fan who loved the Packers and the Badgers. He cherished every moment with his family and got a big charge out of teasing his grandkids. But most of all, he adored his beloved wife and best friend, Marcia.

Survivors include wife Marcia; son Christopher (Teri) Morrical; daughter Penni (Jeff) Welte; grandchildren Zach (Alicia) Kelley, Garrett and Camron Morrical, Kjia, Reegan and Kaedon Welte; great grandchildren Connor and Cooper Kelley; sisters Mickie (Don) Dahl, Elaine Rowe, Sandy (Bob) Budnik, Lannie (Jim) Thayes; brothers Donald Morrical and Gary Morrical; numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents; sister Jan Bailey and sisters-in-law Clarice and Kathy Morrical; brothers-in-law Don Rowe and Lewis Bailey.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at the McCorkle Funeral Home. A committal ceremony will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday October 12, 2024 in Rockton Township Cemetery.
