Paul D. Morse, 79, of Roscoe, IL passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Paul was born on March 30, 1945 in Rockford, IL the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred and Elsie (Clevenger) Morse. Paul married Kim Tabbert on September 2, 1983 in Rockford, IL. Paul established Custom Plastering and operated in the Northern Illinois and surrounding areas for over 35 years. He enjoyed building hotrods and participating in local car shows. He was a fan of both NASCAR and NHRA drag racing and in his youth he raced at the Rockford Speedway. He found peace in being outside, sharing laughs around a bonfire and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife Kim, daughters Tara Morse, Jamie Morse and Tristen Morse; son Geoff (Connie) Morse; daughters Paula Stewart and Glenda Morse; grandchildren Braxton, Logan, Lucas, Arjun, Emery and Zach. He is predeceased by his parents and 2 brothers. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 21, 2024 in McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, IL with Pastor Eric Lemonholm officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Township Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: Wimpy's Fund through the Rockton Lions Club PO Box 90 Rockton, IL 61072 Walter Lawson Children's Home 1820 Walter Lawson Dr. Loves Park, IL 61111
