Rita M. Korleski of Rockton, IL died peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, April 24, 2026 at the age of 91. Rita was born October 1, 1934 in Stevens Point, WI the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore B. and Clara (Weronke) Wanta.
Rita married Kenneth A. Korleski in Stevens Point, WI on August 21, 1954. After the wedding, they moved to Rockton where Rita worked for 13 years at the Wagon Wheel Resort.
Survived by her daughters, Deborah (Ron) Bates, Sandra (Jim) Aspland, Karen Korleski, Jody (Jim) Hoard, Tracy (Mark) Yagle; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, husband, daughter Mary and a son, Russell at birth.
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026 in McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of ceremony on Friday. Burial in Rockton Township Cemetery.
