Robert F. “Bob” Ruppert, 72, Rockton, Illinois died at 3:55 a.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family. \r\r\n\r\r\n Born November 12, 1941 in Harvard, Illinois, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert F. and Bessie (Siebel) Ruppert. Lived 20 years in Rockton, coming here from Churubusco, Indiana. Married the former Roberta Smith in Packerton, Indiana on October 12, 1991. He was employed as a car salesman by Bryden Motors in Beloit, Wisconsin for 18 years. Member of Central Christian Church and Harvard Moose Lodge. Graduated from Harvard High School and Bethany College. \r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include wife, Roberta Ruppert; daughters, Karla (Keith) McDonald, Michelle (Doug) Lapp and Candice (Michael Wooden) Ruppert; son, Robert R. (Chelsea) Ruppert; step daughters, Angela (Greg Owen) Wilson and Barbi (Rich) Bielanksi; grandchildren, Ashley, Cody, Brandi, Leah; Alynnah, Cheyenne, Gage; Taylor, Jade, Chloe; RJ; Amanda; Malorie, Lukas, Adam, Bailey; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Albert C. “Bud” and sisters, Diana and Cynthia. \r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral ceremonies will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 29, 2014 in Central Christian Church, 2460 Milwaukee Road, Beloit, Wisconsin with Reverend David Meding officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Harvard, Illinois. A visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home-Rockton Chapel, 767 N Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, Illinois from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 28 and again at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday. \r\r\n\r\r\n Memorials may be given to the family.
