Ruth McMaster Kincaid, 88 of Rockton, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. She is now with the Lord and Her Beloved Husband.\r\r\n\r\r\n Ruth was born on December 27, 1927 in Indiana, to Lyle and Mildred (Nuttle) McMaster. She married Melvin Kincaid July 8, 1950. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2009. They lived in a home they built in Rockton most of their married life. Ruth was very loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Our lives were richer for having known her and will not be the same with her gone. \r\r\n\r\r\n Survivors include brother, Larry (Esther) McMaster; brother-in-law, Lyle Benjamin and numerous nieces and nephews of several generations. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, in-laws, sisters Ina (Bob) Beldon, Arlene (Bob) Gates, Alice Benjamin, Frances (Myles) Richardson and brother Keith (Lorraine) McMaster.\r\r\n\r\r\n Funeral ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2016 at McCorkle Funeral Home – Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, Illinois with Pastor Charles Waggoner of The Church by the Side of The Road officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. till time of funeral.\r\r\n\r\r\n Memorials will go to Wounded Warriors at 230 West Monroe Street, Suite 200, Chicago, Illinois 60606 in memory of Babe and Ruth.
