Ryan Masters

Ryan Masters, 28, of Machesney Park, IL, formerly of Rockton, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 9 at 8:26 a.m. in his home.

He was born on August 29, 1992, in Rockford, Illinois the son of Jamie Rodenbeck and Lonnie Masters.

Ryan was a 2011 graduate of Hononegah High School and a dedicated Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, serving in two deployments. He was an avid sports fan, especially the University Of Michigan and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Survivors include his parents Jamie and Marc Kuney of Machesney Park, IL and Lonnie and Ellen Masters of Key West, FL; siblings Gabrielle Kuney, Emma Masters, Jake and Zach Harding; three grandmothers Lynne Case, Maggie Gore and Elizabeth Van Horn; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and his feline friend Yadi.

Preceded in death by grandparents David Rodenbeck, Thomas Masters and Jesse Clements.

A walk-through visitation following COVID-19 restrictions with social distancing and face masks required will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, IL. Cremation rites to be accorded.
