Shawn Lowery

Shawn M. Lowery, 49, of South Beloit, IL died at 3:18 p.m., Sunday April 2, 2023 in Beloit Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was born on October 30, 1973 in Honolulu, HI the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Karen (Vander Kooi) Lowery. Shawn graduated from Hononegah High School class of 1991. He married Peggy Johnson in Rockford, IL. Shawn was employed by Willows on Main, Riverside Health Care and more recently, Grammer Auto Parts for 5 years.

Survivors include: daughter Alexandria Bergeson; son Shawn Michael Lowery, Jr and daughter Ariana Johnson; parents Robert and Karen Lowery, Sr.; brother Robert E. (Carol) Lowery Jr.; sister in law Angie Lowery; numerous Aunts, Uncle, Nieces and Nephews. He is predeceased by his Wife Peggy, daughters Heaven and Alyssa; brother Kevin Lowery.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 20, 2023, in McCorkle Funeral Home - Rockton Chapel, 767 N. Blackhawk Blvd., Rockton, IL with Pastor Cassandra Langr officiating. Cremation Rites to be Accorded. Final resting place to be Rockton Township Cemetery. A visitation to be held at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until time of ceremony.
